As we step into 2025, How2 Series is thrilled to announce that we will be launching some exciting new features in our Pumpers app for Meta Quest! These updates are designed to make your experience even more immersive, engaging, and fun.
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming:
Challenge Mode: you’ll face three exhilarating challenges in the new Suburbs scene designed to push you to your limits:
🔥 Douse the Flames: Prove your firefighting prowess by extinguishing fires under pressure using the engine and available resources.
💧 Hold the Line: Maintain perfect line pressure and flow while keeping the booster tank full in dynamic scenarios including simulated radio comms.
🔧 Deal with It: Tackle random failures, from line leaks and kinks to drops in hydrant pressure and mechanical pump malfunctions.
Look for this new mode in the first quarter of 2025!
Also being developed:
Multiple user sessions with real-time chat: Multi-user session training so you can coordinate pump ops with tactical/structural fire fighting scenarios.
Gamification Elements: Compete with other Pump Operators as you level up your skills in the online leaderboard for each challenge.
Voiceovers for walkthroughs: Voiceovers allows our users to focus on the task at hand while directions are spoken out verbally.
Multiple language support: We are developing additional language support for Pumpers including French and Spanish.
